Southern Boone PTA is hosting a Food Truck Frenzy fundraiser this Thursday evening from 5PM-8PM in the primary/elementary school bus loop. A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to the Southern Boone PTA to help support teachers and staff in our school district.

Southern Boone High School Graduation will be on Sunday, May 19th, 2024 at 1 p.m. at the baseball/softball field. Today, Ms. Farris' 4th grade class at the elementary school showcased their innovative Shark Tank projects! After two weeks of hard work and preparation, the students presented their business ideas to a panel of "investors." We're so proud of their creativity and teamwork!

🌟 A heartwarming moment during halftime of tonight's girls soccer game as the family of Crystal Branch presented a generous donation of $50,000 to the Southern Boone Buddy Pack Program! This significant contribution is a testament to the incredible support and generosity of our community in memory of Crystal. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this possible!

📚🐄 Dairy Day at School! 🐄📚 Today, our Kindergarten through 4th grade students had a unique and exciting experience with the Mobile Dairy Classroom! They got to learn all about dairy products—where they come from, how they're made, and why they're important for our health. The kids were thrilled to meet a real dairy cow and see firsthand how milk is collected. It was a fun-filled day full of learning, and we're grateful to the Mobile Dairy Classroom team for visiting us and sharing their knowledge.

🌸🌼 Spreading Joy on May Day! 🌼🌸 Mrs. Francis’ and Mrs. Loehner’s Kindergarten classes from Southern Boone Primary School made this May Day extra special! On Thursday, students delivered beautiful May baskets to neighboring houses, spreading smiles and springtime cheer. The kids had a lot of fun making the baskets and sharing them with our community. A big thank you to the students, teachers and everyone who made this delightful tradition possible! It's moments like these that remind us how much joy our school brings to the community.

Members of Southern Boone Middle School's Jr. Beta Club and the high school's Beta Club spent the morning at The Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri in Columbia and boxed 1,800 pounds of crackers.
