Students in Mrs. Golightly's chemistry classes finished their Black Excellence in STEM project on Friday where they made a periodic table of scientists from different science, technology engineering, and math fields! They are learning about periodic trends and this was a great way to not only get hands-on learning by building their own periodic table but allowed students to research science throughout history and the contributions made to it by Black scientists.

Southern Boone HS Students, the Courtwarming Dance is on Saturday, February 18th from 7-10 pm in the High School Commons. Admission is $5. Come dance in the glow of the city lights, dress is semi-formal/formal, and the music will be poppin'!
Come enjoy an evening of dodgeball to support Southern Boone High School student council! The annual Courtwarming Dodgeball Tournament is Wednesday, Feb 15th at 7:30 in the HS Gym. $2 admission and concessions are available!
