Samuel Palmer, a senior at Southern Boone High School, has been awarded "Honorable Mention" in the 2025 Missouri Scholars 100 program. This prestigious recognition highlights Samuel's outstanding academic performance and dedication to excellence.
Selected by Principal Dale Van Deven, Samuel joins Missouri's top 100 graduating students in this statewide initiative, sponsored by the Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals. The program acknowledges students who excel in academics, demonstrating high GPAs, strong standardized test scores, and active participation in academic competitions.

Last week, Brooke Bryant got called in to participate in All State Choir staying Wed-Sat at a resort. She performed this past Saturday at 3:30 in Paradise C at Margaritaville Lake of the Ozarks MO. The All State Ensembles performances are attended by thousands each year and represent the highest level of competition for music in the State. Way to go Brooke!
