Dear Southern Boone School District Families,
With the fall sports season underway, we want to help ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for students, families and all fans attending events at the Southern Boone outdoor stadium.
We ask parents and students to review and follow the stadium guidelines below for football and soccer games:
Outdoor Stadium Guidelines
Pre-K-4th Grade: Students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and remain seated with them during the game.
5th-12th Grade: Students must sit in the designated student sections in the bleachers for the high school and middle school or with their parent or guardian.
Recreational Items: Footballs, Frisbees, soccer balls and similar recreational items are not permitted inside the stadium.
Seating: Students should remain seated in the bleachers unless visiting the concession stand or restrooms. Running, playing or gathering in open areas of the stadium is not permitted.
Track and Field Access: Fans are not permitted on the track or field.
Additional Restrictions: Outside food and drinks, pets, student backpacks and large bags are not permitted. Student re-entry is also not allowed.
Students who do not follow these expectations may be asked to leave the stadium, and their parent or guardian will be contacted to pick them up.
New Middle School Student Section
A new bleacher addition featuring 364 seats has been installed at the outdoor stadium. A portion of the new bleachers on the south end will serve as the designated middle school student section during Friday night football games.
The addition was funded through remaining funds from the 2022 bond issue stadium project and advertising revenue from the video scoreboard.
Stadium Entrance and Parking
Once again this school year, all fans will enter the stadium through the large middle gate.
