Congratulations to the Southern Boone Boys Cross Country team on an outstanding achievement! They finished in second place at the Class 3 District 3 Meet on Saturday, earning their way to the Class 3 Missouri State Boys Cross Country Championships as a team for the very first time.
Team members include Brian Burns, Sean Burns, Brian Kitch, Jackson Campbell, Aidan Taylor, Wyatt Old, Tristan Duewell, Blake Schupp, and manager George Cabrerra.
Also, congratulations to Kaylin Patton, Zafaran Satterfield, and Julia Volkart for qualifying for the Class 3 Missouri State Girls Cross Country Championships.
They will all compete at the state championships this Saturday at Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia. Tickets will need to be purchased online at https://www.mshsaa.org/Tickets.aspx.
