I grew up in Columbia, graduated from Hickman, earned my Bachelor's degree in Education from MU, my Masters in Curriculum & Instruction from William Woods University, and became a certified eMINTS teacher. I have taught 5th grade for five years in Columbia, 4th grade at Southern Boone for 3 years, Kindergarten at SoBoCo for 11 years and preK beginning in 2018. I love teaching and believe that learning has to be fun and engaging. I strive to create a safe, caring environment that incorporates music, movement, creativity, and great literature as I teach the whole child to make at least one year’s growth. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, family, and my three kids.
