Mrs. Hammann's and Mrs. Himmelberg's classes were two of the five kindergarten classes that visited Bluegrass Terrace assisted living facility in Ashland on Thursday to sing Christmas songs to the residents. The other four classes will visit the facility to sing in the spring.
For staff at the primary school, today is dress in a holiday theme group day. The office staff dressed up at presents.
Mrs. Lines' 2nd grade class was chosen in a drawing to make decorations for a Christmas tree in the central office boardroom. The students decorated the tree, enjoyed some snacks and listened to Interim Superintendent Dr. Tim Roth read the book, 'Twas The Night Before Christmas.
Primary School Counselor Karri Amelunke was presented with the Missouri Elementary School Counselor of the Year Award during the Missouri School Counselor Association's Professional Recognition Ceremony on Saturday. Congratulation to Mrs. Amelunke on this amazing honor!
