Southern Boone Homecoming 2026 is almost here! This year’s theme is “HOCO: Here We Go Again!”
Students, families, alumni and community members are invited to join us for a full week of school spirit leading up to Homecoming on Friday, October 2nd, 2026. The celebration will include the Homecoming Parade, football game, Homecoming Coronation and more.

12:30 p.m. — Early Dismissal

7:00 p.m. — Southern Boone Football vs. Fulton
Halftime — Homecoming Coronation
Saturday, October 3rd, 2026
7:00–10:00 p.m. — High School Homecoming Dance
Homecoming Spirit Weeks
Southern Boone students will get into the Homecoming spirit with special dress-up days and activities leading up to Homecoming for each of the school buildings!

Homecoming Parade
The 2026 Southern Boone Homecoming Parade will begin at 2 p.m. Friday, October 2nd.
This year’s Homecoming Parade Grand Marshal is Bern Bonderer.
Parade Lineup: Ashland Optimist Club
Parade Route: The parade will head south on Henry Clay Boulevard, turn right onto Broadway, continue south on Broadway, turn right onto Main Street, head north on Main Street and end at Southern Boone High School.
Parade Livestream: Can’t make it to the parade in person? A live video broadcast of the Homecoming Parade will be available thanks to Show-Me Sports Network.

2026 Southern Boone Homecoming Court
The 2026 Southern Boone High School Homecoming Court will be recognized during Homecoming festivities, with the Homecoming Coronation taking place at halftime of Friday night’s football game against Fulton.

Homecoming Court Fundraiser
This year’s Homecoming Court made the decision to use the Homecoming fundraising competition to help support two members of the Southern Boone community.
Court members are competing to see who can raise the most money, with 100% of the proceeds supporting Tammra Aholt and Jennifer Brooks.
The fundraising competition continues through Friday, October 2nd, with the winners announced during the Homecoming Coronation Friday night.

High School Homecoming Dance
The Southern Boone High School Homecoming Dance will be held Saturday, October 3rd, from 7:00–10:00 p.m.
Admission is $10 at the door.
