Both schools earned this national recognition by increasing their Beta Club membership by at least 10% over the previous year. The award honors schools committed to academic achievement, exemplary character, leadership and service to others.

Due to the Primary School floors being waxed this week, STOP the Summer Slide will be canceled on Tuesday, July 28.
The program will return on Tuesday, August 4, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Primary School bus loop doors.

Please join us in welcoming Olivia Dalton to the Southern Boone School District! Olivia will begin her first year of teaching as a first-grade teacher at Southern Boone Primary School.
A 2023 Southern Boone High School graduate, Olivia earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Central Missouri this May.
Olivia is excited to return home and serve the community that helped shape her. “It is truly an honor to have the opportunity to make a difference in the community that raised me, and I can’t wait to pour into the next generation of students and families.”
Olivia and her fiancé, whom she met at Southern Boone when they were in kindergarten, will be married this October! In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, gardening, cooking, baking, camping and spending time with family.

Our new teachers and staff attended July Jumpstart this morning as they prepare for the 2026–2027 school year! The morning included introductions to key district staff, technology and communication tools, professional development, mentoring, payroll and benefits and other important resources.
July Jumpstart gives our newest team members an opportunity to ask questions, make connections and learn more about the support available throughout the district.
