Ashland FFA hosted its annual FFA Barnyard outside Southern Boone Primary School, giving our PreK–4th grade students a fun, hands-on opportunity to meet a variety of farm animals and learn more about agriculture. 🐖🐑🐓
From seeing the animals up close to learning from our FFA members, it was a great day of learning outside the classroom!
A big THANK YOU to our Ashland FFA members for sharing their knowledge, time and love of agriculture with our younger students! 🦅❤️🖤

Construction projects completed include:
✅ New Agriculture and Innovation Wing
✅ New concrete parking lot with more than 40 additional spaces
✅ Baseball and softball complex upgrades
✅ First phase of high school HVAC improvements, including energy-efficient LED lighting and new ceiling tiles
These projects are creating safer, more accessible and modern spaces for our students, staff and community. The improvements were made possible through voter-approved no-tax-rate-increase bond issues in April 2024 and April 2026.
Thank you to our community for continuing to invest in the future of the Southern Boone School District!
