🎉 Congratulations to our April Perfect Attendance honorees!

Primary School Special Education Teacher Jenny Mahoney and Middle School Administrative Assistant Sydni Stranz were recently recognized for achieving perfect attendance during the month of April. Each received a certificate along with a $50 gift, generously sponsored by The Callaway Bank.

Come out and enjoy dinner hosted by the Ashland FFA Alumni from 5PM–7PM behind the Southern Boone Agricultural Building. Meals are only $12 and include a burger, fries and water.

Southern Boone’s Beta students are making a difference in a big way! 🥳🎉

This morning, our middle school and high school Beta Clubs gathered to celebrate an incredible year of service to our schools and community. Together, these students completed an amazing 5,003 service hours during the 2025-2026 school year! 🦅❤️🖤

▪️ 7th Grade Jr. Beta Club: 671 Hours
▪️ 8th Grade Jr. Beta Club: 1,057 Hours
▪️ High School Beta Club: 3,275 Hours

We are so proud of these students for their dedication, leadership and commitment to serving others. Thank you for representing Southern Boone in such a positive way!

🌧️ Due to rain in the forecast this afternoon, the Southern Boone Learning Garden's Elementary Garden Club Plant Sale has been postponed. 🌱 The event is now rescheduled for Tuesday, May 12th from 3:30–5 p.m. at the Learning Garden behind the Primary School. We hope to see you there next week for plants, garden tours, and more! 🌼

🧼🫧 Beta Club Hygiene Drive 🫧🧼

The Southern Boone High School Beta Club is collecting half-used hygiene and cleaning products to donate to those in need! If you have items at home that aren’t expired but you no longer use, we’d love your help.

🗓 Now through Friday, May 8th
📍 Drop-off bin located outside the high school front office

Accepted items include shampoo, lotion, laundry detergent, dish soap, disinfectant spray and more.

Send items with your student or drop them off at the high school. Every donation makes a difference!

Our talented Southern Boone Middle School art students did an outstanding job representing our district Thursday night at the Youth Fiber Arts Exhibition in Columbia! 🎨🧵

Students showcased their creativity through sewing, crocheting, knitting and needle felting—and their hard work truly stood out. ✂️🪡 Lucia Gares earned 1st place for the second year in a row 🥇, while Autumn Payne and Kaydence Pointer received honorable mentions 👏

Even more exciting, the work of these three students will be on display for the next 10 days at the Columbia Art League Gallery for the public to enjoy. 🖼️ We are incredibly proud of how these students represented Southern Boone! 🦅❤️🖤

The National Honor Society is holding its final blood drive of the school year this afternoon from 2PM-6PM in the HS Commons.

UPDATE: Due to wet field conditions, this evening’s Southern Boone Baseball game at Boonville has been postponed. The game has been rescheduled for Thursday at Harley Park in Boonville. Varsity will begin at 4:30 p.m., with JV to follow.
