Today is National Parents as Teachers Day! Thank you to Kim Fleetwood, Kathy Bishop and Emily Woodward for their commitment to the young children in our community. Members of the Southern Boone Board of Education and district administration attended the 2023 Missouri School Boards' Association Annual Conference in Kansas City last week.

4th grade students in Ms. Horton's elementary counseling class learned about being special and unique last week. They talked about how our fingerprints are unique and used magnetic powder to see their fingerprints on paper.

The 4th grade classes in the elementary school had a Halloween Door Decorating Contest. After the votes were tallied, Ms. Picha's class was chosen as the winner of the contest with the door with the spider webs and lights.
