The Southern Boone High School Trap team competed in the Centralia trap shoot. The team shot a season-high score of 222. Congratulations!

The Southern Boone High School Marching Eagles competed in the Wright City Wildcat Pride Invitational on Saturday. The band received the following awards: Field Show Awards: Class 3 Division: 2nd Place Color Guard: Outstanding Visual Effects: Outstanding Group Competition Awards: Percussion: 1st Place Color Guard: 3rd Place

Students in Mrs. Himmelberg's kindergarten class enjoyed having Assistant Superintendent Christy Jones read to them the book, How to Catch a Unicorn.

Southern Boone PTA is hosting a Food Truck Festival on Thursday evening, September 28th starting at 5PM in Moser's Parking Lot. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Southern Boone PTA.

Students at the primary and elementary schools participated in a bus evacuation drill this morning. They learned about important safety information and reviewed how to properly exit the bus in the event of an actual emergency. Thank you to the bus drivers who were wonderful instructors throughout this drill.

SAVE THE DATE: The 8th Annual Southern Boone Marching Classic will be held on Saturday, October 14th. Over 20 high school marching bands will be competing!

The elementary school held its first Book Swap of the school year last week. Every student received a free book of their choice. They were also able to bring in books from home to swap for books that were new to them.
