🚻 Restroom Renovation Complete! 🚻 We’re excited to share that the remodeling project for two sets of restrooms at Southern Boone High School is now finished—two weeks ahead of schedule! 🎉 The updated restrooms are located in the commons area and near the front office. This project is part of the $11.6 million no tax rate increase bond issue that our community supported in April 2024 to expand and renovate our high school. The 9th Annual Southern Boone Marching Classic is this Saturday at Southern Boone High School!

Southern Boone Community Teachers Association (CTA) is sponsoring a care kit drive to collect items like shampoo/conditioner, body wash, hair brushes, toothpaste/brushes, socks, etc. These items will be given to local families in need. In addition, all families that receive a Christmas basket this year will receive a care kit as well!

🔌⚡Last week, our 4th graders had an electrifying experience with Keith Mueller from Boone Electric Cooperative!⚡🔌Keith shared valuable lessons on electrical energy and safety, sparking curiosity and excitement among our students. 🔋💡 We’re so grateful to Boone Electric Cooperative for their continued support and for helping our students learn how to stay safe around electricity!

👑 Congratulations to our 2024 Southern Boone Homecoming King and Queen, Aiden McDaniel and Anna Sappington! We'd also like to give a big shoutout to Cami Herin and Parker Salter for winning the charity competition! 💫 The entire senior royalty court came together to raise over $7,000 for Layne Johnson and his family. We are so proud of the generosity and support shown by our students, families and the entire community. It was an amazing homecoming. Go Eagles! 🦅❤️🖤
