
Tuesday was the 100th day of school! As an annual tradition at the primary school, 1st grade students dressed up as 100 years old to celebrate the milestone. Students also enjoyed fun activities and delicious snacks throughout the day.

The Southern Boone School District is excited to announce the establishment of the Southern Boone Golden Eagles Club, a new initiative designed for individuals ages 50 and older, as well as local business leaders in the community.
We will kick off the club's activities with a Community Breakfast and Program scheduled for Tuesday, March 19th, 2024, starting at 8:30AM in the high school commons.

The Middle School Quiz Bowl competed in the Moberly Young Scholar Tournament last weekend at Moberly Middle School. A total of 14 schools and 120 students participated in the tournament. Congratulatiosn to Chelsea Klutho and Blake Schupp for earning high score awards.

Three high school students participated in the Tri-County Conference Honor Band last weekend. The students started rehearsal on Saturday morning and performed later that afternoon. The students who participated were Kahler Bauer, Eleanor Samuels and Hallie Gerdts.


Mrs. Ortbals' afternoon preschool class had a baby kangaroo named Nugget visit them to help kick off their animal theme and a new story, Does a Kangaroo Have a Mother, Too? by Eric Carle. Mrs. Clark even stopped by to hold the cute joey!

Thank you to all the Eagles fans who came out to tonight's Courtwarming games. The energy was amazing!


The middle school had a pep assembly on Thursday afternoon to celebrate Courtwarming and included basketball games between students and teachers.





This year for courtwarming, all high school grade levels are participating in a fundraiser to raise money for charity. All grades have chosen to help the family of Sadie Robinett.
Thank you all for helping with your donations. The fundraiser ends today and the total money raised and winners will be announced after the basketball game on Friday night.
