Last week, our kindergarten classes brought smiles and holiday spirit to the residents of Ashland Villa and Bluegrass Terrace Senior Living! Their sweet voices and joyful songs warmed the hearts of residents and made the season a little brighter. ❤️🎅
🎄🎁 Southern Boone CTAs Holiday Food Drive: A Huge Success! 🎁🎄
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, the Southern Boone Community Teachers Association collected 4,300+ non-perishable food items and raised over $6,600 to support local families this holiday season.
Together, we helped provide 56 students with food items, hygiene products, and a $45 gift card to Moser's and a $45 gift card to Wal-Mart.
A heartfelt thank you to the following organizations and businesses for their generous donations:
✨ Veterans United Foundation for their $2,000 donation
✨ Ashland Optimist Club for donating 50 hams
✨ Unilever and Gerbes on Truman Blvd. in Jefferson City for donating hygiene products

🚧 High School Construction Update 🚧
Starting today, the entrance/exit to the high school commons parking lot from Crump Lane is closed for construction as crews replace the concrete entrance. The project will wrap up by January 6, 2025. Parking in the commons lot will remain available, but drivers will need to use alternate routes to access it:
1️⃣ Drive behind the school to access the commons parking lot.
2️⃣ Use the newly installed concrete drive off Crump Lane, located north of the high school and west of the baseball/softball fields
This work is part of the $11.6 million no-tax-rate-increase bond issue supporting campus improvements. For more details, visit sbschools.us/future.
