Students in Ms. Farris' 4th grade class recently planned, prepped, built and tested solar ovens in an experiment to make s'mores. The students had a lot of fun using science to make a delicious treat!
The Southern Boone High School Trap team competed in the Centralia trap shoot. The team shot a season-high score of 222. Congratulations!

Students at the primary and elementary schools participated in a bus evacuation drill this morning. They learned about important safety information and reviewed how to properly exit the bus in the event of an actual emergency. Thank you to the bus drivers who were wonderful instructors throughout this drill.
SAVE THE DATE: The 8th Annual Southern Boone Marching Classic will be held on Saturday, October 14th. Over 20 high school marching bands will be competing!
